One time I stood outside of a girl’s house with a rose in my mouth, like between my teeth. It was obviously a joke and was supposed to look stupid, and it really did. I definitely looked stupid. She just rolled her eyes and laughed.
There is a kind of merry war betwixt Signor Benedick and her. They never meet but there’s a skirmish of wit between them.
